Hotwire Entertainment was conceived in 2001 and began operating full time in 2002 under the name M2 Entertainment.  In 2004 Steven was deployed and a served in Iraq with the 2101^st Transportation Company for a year.  During this time M2 Entertainment was acquired by another organization and Steven brought Hotwire Entertainment into being.

Since 2005 Steven has provided entertainment for high school dances, wedding receptions, birthday parties, private events, universities, MC work, class reunions, and night clubs throughout Alabama, and also in parts of Georgia and Mississippi

Steven credits much of his success from the advice and tutoring of his cousin and fellow DJ Chris Hale, owner of Dance Party Productions of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and also to local DJ from Camden James “Big Daddy” Lawler.
